Spreading Christmas Cheer with Keech Hospice Care

At Cougar Accident Repair Centre, we recently had the pleasure of lending a helping hand to our local hospice, Keech Hospice Care, after they approached us with a festive emergency.

Their much-loved Christmas sleigh – which tours the local community every December – had unfortunately encountered some technical issues, with the lights and sound system no longer working. Knowing the incredible work Keech does to support people during some of the most difficult times in their lives, we didn’t hesitate to get involved.

But we didn’t just want to repair it – we wanted to completely transform it.

The project was handed over to our talented paint technician apprentice, Alfie, who took the lead with real enthusiasm. Backed by the rest of our paint team and members from across the Cougar workshop, the sleigh was given a full makeover – complete with restored lights, working music, and a refreshed festive look ready to hit the road once again.

This sleigh plays a special role in the local community every Christmas, helping Keech Hospice Care raise vital funds that go directly toward the compassionate care they provide to patients and their families.

We’re incredibly proud of the transformation and so pleased we could help bring some extra Christmas cheer to a cause that means so much to so many.
